I made this box for my oldest daughter who has been dying for something made with the "Immortal Love" DCWV papers I got from Jo-Ann's. It is of course Twilight-ish and since she is the biggest Twilight Fan on the planet (you should see her room, complete with life-size Rob Pattinson), we settled on this box she can use in her room.

I put crushed velvet scrapbook paper in the bottom.

My latest projects...

So to get started with my new blog, I thought I'd post some of my most recent projects. Beginning with the MOST recent, my son's wall art I made using a digi stamp from Tickled Pink Stamps. I took an open box frame I found at the dollar store and went from there...

If you're interested in the process, you can watch the YouTube video here.

I used a digi stamp from Tickled Pink Stamps called Lil Victorian Steampunk Lad Eric, for the focal point.  He reminded me so much of my son when I saw it!  I used copics to color him and the backgrounds include jute, designer papers from DCWV Tattered Time and elements from Graphic 45 Steampunk Debutante.  I used other digi stamps for the backgrounds as well.  To finish, I used Tim Holtz corners and lots of distressing!

Next up is a chest of drawers I made for my mom for Mother's Day using Graphic 45 Once Upon A Springtime.

There is a YouTube video for this project here.

This is a memo board I made for my grandmother for Mother's Day.  I used Graphic 45 Steampunk Debutante papers for this one.  The matching pen is a RSVP with the matching paper put inside.

The YouTube video for this one is here.

Now these are teacher appreciation boxes I made a few weeks ago for my kids to take to school.  They were a big hit!  I filled them with tea and chocolate!  Yum!

The videos on YouTube for these are here and here.

These are both made with $1.00 balsa wood boxes from Michael's.
